The theocrats (real ones, not rightwing Republicans) who run oil-rich Iran now say they will continue their pursuit of nuclear technology, which they consider a "right." One wonders how secure the rights to life and liberty will be for Iran's global neighbors if the mullahs are not stopped, and soon.

Jackie, Oh No!

Jackie Mason, a Jewish comic, is suing Jews for Jesus for $2 million for using his likeness in an evangelistic tract and demanding that the pamphlets be removed from circulation. Mason, who makes a living humorously describing the differences between Jews and Gentiles, apparently doesn't want others he doesn't like to do the same. Jewish people such as Mason ought to know as well as anyone that you don't get ahead by attacking the rights of religious minorities-and Jewish believers in the Messiah are surely that.

Two Fox News journalists were released by Muslim militants in Gaza after being forced at gunpoint to "convert" to the religion of peace. "I have the highest respect for Islam,” one of the former captives said. “But it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns, and we didn’t know what the hell was going on.”
